Shirley Ann Leeper

Shirley Leeper 67, of Washington passed away March 12, 2018 in The Washington Hospital. She was born June 18, 1950 in Washington a daughter of the late Harry Edward Thomas Sr. and Ruth Parsons Thomas. Shirley worked at North Avenue apartments for over ten years in maintenance and housekeeping. She loved spending time with her family, reading, going to the casino, watching Lifetime movies and the Hallmark Channel. Shirley is survived by sons, Joseph (Cheyenne) Leeper and Christopher Brian (Lauren) Leeper both of Washington; daughters Lori (Don) Jones of Washington, Amanda (Joe) Szewczyk of Castle Shannon; brothers Edward “Sonny” Thomas of Washington, Glenn (Donna) Thomas of Lindenwold, NJ, Floyd ( Barb) Thomas of Washington and Dave Thomas of Washington; sister Alice (Al) Ferry of Bakersfield, CA; grandchildren Taylor, McCoy, Austin, Dakota, Anthony, Michael, Ryan, Henry; sister-in-law Shirley Thomas and many nieces and nephews. Deceased are a brother Harry Thomas Jr and sister Wilda Scott. Friends will be received Thursday March 15 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm in The William G. Neal Funeral Homes 925 Allison Avenue Washington, PA 15301, where services will be held Friday March 16 at 11:30 am.
