Shirley K. Huffman, of Washington, PA passed away peacefully on December 11, 2023. She was born in Laboratory, PA on March 11, 1936, to the late William T. and Edna M. Kimberland. Mrs. Huffman graduated from Trinity High School in 1954. She was married to Frank E. Huffman, who survives. Mrs. Huffman was employed by Bell Telephone, Suwak Trucking for 32 years, and retired from Ross Mould. She belonged to Jefferson Methodist Church and was an active member of the church and Jefferson Senior Citizens. Most recently, she was a member of McDonald United Methodist Church. Mrs. Huffman delivered Meals on Wheels and was a volunteer at Southwest Regional Medical Center. She was a member of Eastern Star, Greene County Fun Squares and Friendly Squares Square Dancing Clubs. She and her husband took many trips, internationally and throughout the United States. Surviving, in addition to her husband, are a daughter, Rebecca A. Farrar of Canonsburg, and many close nieces and nephews. Deceased, in addition to her parents, are her first husband, Richard H. Farrar; sisters, Mildred Stockdale and Ruth Harshman; nieces, Sandy Nolan and Robin Adams; and nephew, Dusty Stockdale. Friends will be received from 2 till 6 p.m., Sunday, December 17th, in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 11 a.m., Monday, December 18th, with Rev. Sandra Conti of Mt. Zion United Methodist Church officiating. Burial will follow in Prosperity Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please send a donation to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
