Sharon L. Barnhart, 78, of Washington, died Tuesday, November 13, 2018, in her home. She was born September 19, 1940, in Elm Grove, West Virginia, a daughter of the late Ross Elliott and Margaret Julianna Burger Elliott. Mrs. Barnhart was a 1957 graduate of Triadelphia (WV) High School. A homemaker and the owner of Rob-Shar Kennel in Washington, she formerly worked at H&R Block, the racetrack, and the Dog House Diner. Mrs. Barnhart loved traveling and spending time with family, especially her kids, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a member of Bethel Presbyterian Church. On December 13, 1963, she married Robert D. Barnhart, Sr., who survives. Also surviving are a son, Robert D. Barnhart, Jr., of West Alexandria, OH; a daughter, Mindy L. (Mike) Allen of West Alexander; a sister, Lynne (Harold) Trigg of Kettering, Ohio; five grandchildren, Matthew Allen, Chad (Tori) Allen, Dylan Allen, Brady Barnhart and Stephanie Barnhart; five great-grandchildren, Hope, Connor, Bentlee, Camille and Braelynn; and a nephew, Kevin (Beth) Trigg. Deceased is a granddaughter, Tori Allen. A memorial gathering will be held from 10:30 till 11 a.m., the time of a memorial service, Saturday, November 24th, in Bethel Presbyterian Church, with Rev.
