Ruth Louise Lacock Fullerton

Ruth Louise Lacock Fullerton, 99, of Washington, died Tuesday, August 20, 2024, in the home of her daughter in Center Township. She was born May 7, 1925, in Washington, a daughter of the late Lee Roy Lacock and Margaret Marie Richmond Lacock. Mrs. Fullerton graduated from Washington High School in January 1944. She was a member of Avery United Methodist Church. Mrs. Fullerton was the last of her immediate family. She loved spending time with her family, baking, gardening and wordsearch. On April 27, 1944, she married Harry G. “Chick” Fullerton, who passed away June 18, 2006. Surviving are a daughter, Sherry L. (Jim) Lester of Center Township; a son, William R. (Jennifer) Fullerton of Cranberry Township; a son-in-law, David Smith; nine grandchildren, Richard E. (Sherry) Tarr of Bridgeville, David C. (Lexxi) Smith of Tiltonsville, Ohio, James M. (Nicole) Smith of Claysville, Geneva Lester (Sagar) Nagilla of Beaver, Von (Molly) Lester of Newport News, Virginia, Nicole Fullerton of Amity, Shannon Fullerton of Glassport, Chuckie Fullerton of Amity, Maddie Carlin of Cranberry; 11 great-grandchildren, Oliver Nagilla, Ari Nagilla, Meera Nagilla, Levi Lester, Nicholas Tarr, Morgan Tarr, Niko Marinacci, Izzy Marinacci, Jackson Smith, Tyler Smith and Madelyn Smith; and nieces Cathie (Tom) Wilson and Sharon Meeks. Deceased, in addition to her husband of 62 years, is a daughter, Carolyn Fullerton Smith; a brother, Homer Lacock; a sister, Eleanor Meeks; former son-in-law, Jim Osborn; and former daughter-in-law, Sheila Fullerton. Family and friends will be received from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., the time of service, Tuesday, August 27, 2024, in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, with Pastor William Lawler officiating. Burial will follow in Washington Cemetery.
