Roxie Irene Hampson, 83, of Monongahela, died Monday, October 7, 2019, in Mon Valley Care Center. She was born November 6, 1935, in Washington, a daughter of the late Everette R. Main and Myrtle Irene Pattison Main Berisford. Ms. Hampson worked at Brockway Glass #7 and Hazel Atlas, and owned and operated Hampson’s Personal Care Home. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and her grand-dogs, Tank and Bonnie, listening to music, especially Neil Diamond, and planting flowers. Mrs. Hampson was a member of Church of the Nazarene. Surviving are three daughters, Ruthie France (John Hoefler) of Washington, Sandra Zajack (Ben) of Belle Vernon, and Billie Jo Doman (Richard) of Meadowlands; five grandchildren, Mikol Dadisman (Tess), Brooke Lagoni (Rocky), Shane Dadisman (Amanda), Elaina Doman, and Shelby Doman (fiancé Darin Stephens); 11 great-grandchildren, Cierra, Lyla, Dakota, Gia, Iskander, Zoe, Chase, Sly, Jeremiah, Leia, and Levi; and numerous nieces and nephews. Deceased are brothers, Eugene, Howard, Richard, William, Edward and Paul Main; and sisters, Nell Wright, Ruth Moore McQuay, Violet Peese, and Connie Rogers. Friends will be received from 4 till 8 p.m., Wednesday, in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 1 p.m., Thursday, October 10th, with Rev. Steve Parkhill officiating. Burial will follow in Washington Cemetery.
