Ross Eugene Bender Jr.

Ross Eugene Bender Jr., 57 of Washington, died Wednesday, July 31, 2019 at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital. He was born August 5, 1961 in Carnegie, the son of the late Ross Eugene Bender Sr. and JoAnn Dufour Bender. Ross was a graduate of Washington High School and worked as a groundskeeper at Washington Park. He was a Catholic by faith. Ross loved Halloween and Christmas; spending time online. He collected horror movies and was a Prexie fan. Ross was the family prankster and gave everyone a unique nickname. Surviving are two sisters, Karen Bender and Luann Ayres both of Washington; five nieces and nephews; three grandnieces and a grandnephew. Deceased are two brothers, Jeff and Russ. Friends will be received Monday, August 5, 2019 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Ave, Washington, where services will be held Tuesday, August 6, 2019 at 10:30 a.m. Burial will be held at noon at Robinson Run Cemetery, McDonald.
