Rosetta Bedillion, 88, of Washington, died Tuesday, March 9, 2021 at her home. She was born on May 21, 1932, in Washington, the daughter of the late Edward C. and Sylvia A. Glendenning Poland. Rosetta worked at American Medical Laboratories, retiring in 1991. She was also part owner and operator of Bedillion’s Used Furniture. On January 9, 1970, in West Alexander, Rosetta married Paul K. Bedillion, who died on June 2, 2006. Surviving to cherish her memory are daughters Doris Bredniak, Deborah Gump, and Rosemarie (Ray) Noble, all of Washington; a brother Robert Gary Poland of Washington; grandchildren Delfine, Bernice, Vicky, Grace, Brian, Valerie, Marcia, and Rosetta; 18 great-grandchildren; and 6 great-great- grandchildren. Rosetta is preceded in death by granddaughters Jenny Fay and Rachel Marie Gump, and brother Charles E. Poland. She was a member of North Buffalo Church and was a member of Buffalo Grange 1523. There will be a graveside service at Washington Cemetery on Saturday, March 13, 2021, at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Gary Gibson officiating. The funeral procession will leave the funeral home at 12:30.
