Rosella Flo Stone

Rosella Flo Stone, 84, of Washington, died on Tuesday, June 26, 2018, in Premier Washington Health Center.She was born on January 8, 1934, in East Finley, a daughter of the late Clarence and Flossie Nelson.A graduate of Claysville High School, she was a homemaker.Mrs. Stone loved spending time outside doing yardwork and gardening.On January 7, 1957, she married Samuel S. Stone, who died on December 16, 2008.Surviving are two sons, Gary L. (Tammy) Stone, of Washington and Mark A. (Sherry) Stone, of St. Clairsville, OH; a brother, Clarence Rex (Elaine) Nelson, of Washington; five grandchildren, Aaron, Christopher, Ruschell, Joshua and Tiffany; six great grandchildren, Trevor, Tyler, Silas, Samuel, Meadow and Ava; and several nieces and nephews.Deceased are a son, Samuel S. Stone, Jr., two brothers, Don and Jerry, and three sisters, Helen, Fairy and Mickey.At the request of the deceased, all services will be private.Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 320 Bilmar Dr., Pittsburgh, PA 15205.
