Ronald Stedman

Ronald “Ron” Clinton Stedman, 65, passed away Thursday, May 2, 2024, in Washington Hospital. He was born September 18, 1958, in Washington, a son of Marlene Joyce Renz Stedman, who survives, and the late John R. Stedman. Ron was a graduate of Trinity High School. He was employed at Ferro in the field of chemical manufacturing. Ron was an avid sports fan, especially Pittsburgh sports, including the Steelers and Pirates. He was a proud supporter of his grandchildren at their sporting events and enjoyed spending time with his family. He was a hard worker throughout his life. Ron loved his dog, Gemma Lou, who he affectionately called “Old Gemmers.” He was member of Abundant Life Baptist Church. Surviving are two sons, Michael (Kristen) Stedman and Marc Stedman; a brother, Bryon (Cynthia) Stedman; a sister, Pamela (Scott) Harrington; and three grandchildren, Hanna Stedman, Jacob Stedman and Anthony Stedman. Family and friends will be received from 2 to 6 p.m. Wednesday, May 8, 2024, in William G. Neal Funeral Home, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 12 p.m. Thursday, May 9, 2024. Everyone attending is encouraged to wear casual attire. Interment will follow in Washington Cemetery.
