Ronald "Ron" Mruk

Ronald “Ron” Mruk, 65 of Uniontown, died Thursday, June 20, 2019 at home. He was born March 9, 1954, in Washington, the son of the late George Lewis Mruk and Fannie Toland Mruk. Ron was a 1972 graduate of Washington High School and received an associate degree at the Career Academy of Radio Broadcasting. He worked at KDKA for more that 15 years and also worked for the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette. Ron loved to work on computers and was an artist. He played guitar all his life. Ron enjoyed fishing and spending time with friends and family. Surviving are his children, Joseph Mruk of Pittsburgh, Tara (John) Pierce of Orlando, FL, Harper Mruk of Ripon, WI; a brother, James (Barbara) Mruk of Crestwood,, KY; a sister, Sandra (Sean) McCormick of Cincinnati, OH; four grandchildren, Kyra and Sasha Lovell, Carmela and Blue Pierce; several nieces and nephews. Deceased is a son, Ronald Mruk. All services are private and have been entrusted to William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Ave, Washington.
