Ronald L. Butera

Ronald L. Butera, 74, of Washington, died on Sunday, August 5, 2018, in his home. He was born on March 20, 1944, in New Kensington, a son of the late Charles Hugh Butera and Kathryn Lea Buchner. He was a graduate of Washington High School. Mr. Butera retired after 35 years working as a coal miner. On April 24, 1965, he married Letitia M. Swan, who survives. Also surviving are three children, Charles Ronald (fiancée, Nancy Parr) Butera, of Wellsburg, WV, Tracy L. (John) Markle, of Hampton, VA and Anthony M. Butera, of Washington; seven grandchildren, Matthew J. (Ashley) Markle, Tyler J. (Melinda) Markle, Kyle Butera, Regan K. Butera, Eraca L. Butera, Kyleigh Parr and Shyann Par; and five great grandchildren, Alexis, Kaylynn, Madalynn and Ashlynn Markle, and Ava Kinley. Friends will be received on Wednesday, August 8, 2018, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m., in the William G. Neal Funeral Home, Ltd., 925 Allison Ave., Washington, PA, where services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, August 9, 2018. Burial will follow in Washington Cemetery
