Roger Allen Cogar, 55, of Marianna, died on Wednesday, November 29, 2017, in the Washington Hospital, following a brief illness.He was born on February 15, 1962, in Buckhannon, WV., a son of Harry Denver, and Wilda Jean Nitz Cogar, of Marianna.After graduating from Trinity High School, in 1980, he attended Rosedale Technical Institute, where he studied diesel mechanics.Roger worked all over the United States, as a journeyman carpenter, for Construx, LLC.One of his favorite pastimes was spending time fishing.Surviving, in addition to his parents, are a fiancée, Peggy Sue Warnick, with whom he shared a home; a daughter, Summer Rose Cogar, of Greene County; four siblings, Denver E. “Denny” (Debbie) Cogar, of Claysville, Denise Rose Robison, of Marianna, Harry D. “Joe” (Tracy) Cogar, II, of Washington, and Rodney Dale Cogar, of Marianna; a grandson, Castiel Radjeraric; eight nieces and nephews, and several great nieces and great nephews.Friends will be received on Sunday, December 3, 2017, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., and on Monday, December 4, 2017, from 10 to 12 p.m., the time of services, in the William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Ave., Washington, PA, with Pastor Arnold Watts officiating.Burial will follow in the Washington Cemetery.
