Robert Marshman, Jr., of Washington, went to live in eternal peace with God on Monday, July 29, 2024. He was born July 8, 1958, a son of the late Robert and Alice Marshman. After attending Washington High School, he enlisted in the Army National Guard. He was a graduate of Shiloh Bible Institute. Robert was employed by TruGreen Lawn Care as a sales representative. He was a faithful servant of God, teaching the word as a guest minister in many churches around the area. He also would spend hours talking with his Christian friends about the Bible. Robert enjoyed playing electronic darts, which he was classified as a pro, and he liked spending time with his cousin Jimmy Presto at the dog races. He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Kathy; four children, Brian Dombrowski of Washington, Jackie (Adam) Meurer of Charlottesville, Virginia, Crystal Marshman of Washington and Amber (Mike) Randolph of Houston, Pennsylvania; he was blessed with nine grandchildren, whom he loved spending time with, Julius Miller, Braden Dombrowski, Isaiah and Olivia Woods, Dexton and Locke Meurer and Ayden, Jade and Travis Randolph; a brother, Nick Marshman; and a sister Sherry Marshman Wilk. Deceased are three brothers, Gary, Tom and Mark. Friends will be received on Monday, August 5th, from 11 a.m. till 12:30 p.m., in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington. The funeral service will begin at 12:30 p.m. in the funeral home with Pastor Megan Johnson officiating. Burial will be private.
