Robert Denton Good, 74, of Bentleyville, died Sunday, February 10, 2019, in the Emergency Department of The Washington Hospital. He was born March 11, 1944, in North Braddock, a son of the late William C. Good and Louise Hempel Good. Mr. Good graduated from Trinity High School in 1962, and California University of Pennsylvania in 1968. In the early 1960s, he served in the Navy aboard the carrier Intrepid. A retired teacher, he had taught English and Driver’s Education at Chartiers-Houston High School. Mr. Good was a member of Church of the Covenant in Washington, Sunset Lodge 623 F&AM, and Greater Pittsburgh Area Radio Control Society. He was an avid reader, enjoyed history and radio controlled aircraft, and loved classical music. Surviving are three children, Maureen (Kai) Weimar, Dr. Erica Louise Good, and David Denton Good; two brothers, W. David (Cindy) Good and J. B. (Elaine) Good; two sisters, Linnea (Jack) Piatt and Adrienne (David) Kaper; two grandchildren, Claudia and Marcus Weimar; and numerous nieces and nephews. Services and interment were private.
