Robert David “Bob” Krut, 77, of Claysville, died on April 2, 2021, in St. Clair Hospital, surrounded by his loved ones. He was born on October 20, 1943, in Pittsburgh, a son of the late Leonard and Jean Rothaar Krut. Bob was a graduate of Bethel Park High School. Mr. Krut retired after working thirty-two years for US Steel Corporation as an electrician. Following retirement, Bob owned and managed J.D. Electric. He also worked as a constable, supervisor and auditor for Buffalo Township. He was a member of the Taylorstown American Legion, and the National Rifle Association, and enjoyed fishing and gardening. Bob loved his family most of all. They always came first. On June 15, 1973, he married Donna L. Ondike, who survives. They were married forty-seven years. Also surviving are three children, Jason (Natalie) Krut, of McDonald, Jennifer (Joe) Kidwell, of Claysville, and Jessica (Chad) Naeser, of Claysville; seven grandchildren, Aubrie (Cameron) Hunt, Joseph Kidwell, Jr., Alexander Krut, Keaton Naeser, Brenda Krut, Caleb Krut, and Faith Naeser; numerous nieces and nephews; and his dog, that he loved, Clyde. Deceased are two brothers, Terry and Wayne Krut; and a sister, who died at birth. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the National Rifle Association of America, 11250 Waples Mill Road, Fairfax, VA 22030. Friends will be received on Thursday, April 8, 2021, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m., in the William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Ave., Washington, PA, where services will be held at 11:30 a.m., Friday, April 9, 2021.
