Robert Lewis “Blackie” Black, 74, of Washington, died on Sunday, November 26, 2017, in his home. He was born on November 18, 1943, in Washington, a son of the late William, and Mary McCartney Black. Mr. Black attended Washington High School. Blackie owned his own scrap hauling company. He enjoyed watching television, playing the guitar, and doing puzzles. A man who loved a good joke, Blackie loved dogs, and collecting old cars. Surviving are two sons, Robert Lewis Black, Jr., of Washington, and William Black, of Washington. He also leaves behind two sisters, Betty and Sis. Deceased are three brothers, Billy, Cliff and Clarence Black. At the request of the deceased, all services will be private, and held at the convenience of the family.
