Robert B. “Bob” Anderson, 63, of Claysville, passed away unexpectedly, on Thursday, September 7, 2017, in the Washington Hospital.
He was born on March 17, 1954, in Washington, a son of Charles H. and Louise Bopp Anderson, of Washington.
He attended Trinity High School.
Bob worked for West Penn wire as a machine operator, for twenty-seven years, this month.
He enjoyed hunting and fishing, and spending time in the mountains at his camp.
On September 18,1971, he married Diane L. Watson, who survives.
Surviving in addition to his wife and parents, are two daughters; Bobbi Lynn (Stephen) Gudac, of Kersey, and Tiffany L. (Ryan) McConnell, of Waynesburg; two brothers, Charles H.(Ida) Anderson, Jr., of Houston, and John “Jay” (Bonnie) Anderson, of Prosperity; a sister, Tracy (Mike) Semple, of Washington; a sister-in-law, Lois Anderson, of Amity; five grandchildren, Dalton Joseph, Tori and Landon Gudac, and Carys and Campbell McConnell; and several nieces and nephews.
Deceased is a brother William E. Anderson.
Friends will be received on Sunday, September 10, 2017, from 12 to 6 p.m., in the William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Ave, Washington, PA, where services will held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, September 11, 2017, with Rev. Michael Singo officiating. Burial will follow in Claysville Cemetery.
