Jeanne Geidel-Neal It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Aunt Jeanne on January 2, 2024. She was a cherished member of our family and a dear friend to all who had the pleasure of knowing her. Aunt Jeanne touched the lives of many with her kindness, warmth, and unwavering love. Born on May 9, 1948, Aunt Jeanne grew up in Pittsburgh and moved to California at a young age until her return to Canonsburg Pa around 2014. Aunt Jeanne dedicated her life to bringing people closer to Christ, spreading His message of love and compassion. She tirelessly worked to share the good news and guide others on their spiritual journey. Her heart overflowed with a deep desire for everyone to experience the joy and peace that comes from knowing Jesus. Throughout her life, Aunt Jeanne embodied the qualities of a faithful servant. With unwavering devotion, she selflessly served those in need, offering a helping hand and a listening ear to anyone who crossed her path. Her acts of kindness and compassion were a reflection of her strong faith and love for the Lord. As Aunt Jeanne's journey on earth reached its end, she longed to hear the words, "Well done, my good and faithful servant," from her Heavenly Father. She knew that her purpose in life was to bring people to Christ, and she strived to fulfill this calling with humility and grace. Now, as Aunt Jeanne enters the gates of heaven, we can imagine the joy and fulfillment she feels knowing that she has completed the task set before her. The Lord, in His infinite wisdom, will surely welcome her with open arms and commend her for her dedication and service. Aunt Jeanne's life serves as an inspiration to us all, reminding us of the importance of sharing God's love and spreading His word. May we continue her legacy by following in her footsteps, reaching out to others with kindness, and leading them to the loving embrace of our Heavenly Father. and spent her life spreading joy and positivity wherever she went. She had a knack for bringing people together and a love for worship and fellowship. Aunt Jeanne enjoyed long bikes rides on her Harley, photography “And God Says Productions” and she was a prayer warrior. Family was everything to her. Aunt Jeanne was a pillar of strength and support for her family. She was a loving sister, a doting aunt, a compassionate “grammy” and loving stepmother and a devoted friend. Her nurturing nature and compassionate heart made her the go-to person for advice and comfort. Aunt Jeanne had a way of making everyone feel special and valued, and her absence will be deeply felt by all who knew her. Aunt Jeanne requests that everyone attending the funeral wear white. White symbolizes purity, peace, and the celebration of a life well-lived. It also represents the light that Aunt Jeanne’s brought into our lives and the lasting impact she had on our hearts. She is survived by nieces and nephews, Tammy Berkovitz (Steve), Karen Homrock (Greg), Christine Fragapane (Clyde), David Geidel (Ashley), Jessica “Jess” Laneave (Carl), Lindsay Geidel and Dale Fraser; stepson, Justin Thomas Neal, step-grandchildren Jeremy, Jacob and Kaitlyn; five great-nieces; ten great nephews; brother, Wayne Geidel; sister, Maureen Geidel. Preceding her in death were her brothers Louis G. Geidel, Jr. and Dale Geidel, Sr. The visitation will be held on January 11, 2024, from 1pm to 3pm at William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd.,925 Allison Avenue, Washington, PA 15301. Followed by a 4:30 Celebration of Life Service and meal at Champion Christian Center, 1200 Donnan Avenue, Washington, PA 15301. We will gather to celebrate Aunt Jeannie's life and share our fondest memories of her. It is our hope that through this gathering, we can find solace in each other's company and find strength in the legacy that Aunt Jeanne leaves behind. Aunt Jeanne, you will forever remain in our hearts. Your love, laughter, and kindness will continue to inspire us all. May you rest in peace, knowing your impact on this world will never be forgotten.
