Loving husband, father, grandfather and uncle, Richard (Dick) McFeely of Canonsburg was called home to glory on December 23, 2020, after a well-lived life at the age of 90. Praise the Lord for the time shared with our wonderful father. He was born January 22, 1930 in Atlasburg. He entered into eternal life with his loving wife, Doris Frazee McFeely; his parents, Helen and James McFeely and his brother, James W. McFeely, who died in infancy. He was employed by US Steel for 36 years and ANSYS, Inc. until his retirement. He attended Chartiers Hill Presbyterian Church for thirty-five years and then Faith Presbyterian Church. Our dad was truly loved by all who knew him. He will be remembered by his family and friends for his sweet disposition. He was very handy and always did his own car and home repairs most of his life. He was proud for being 90 years old with very little gray hair. He loved all birds and animals and took excellent care of any stray cats that came to his house. In his memory, love your family and friends every day and tell them you “love them more”. (Our father’s favorite phrase.) The next time you have your morning coffee, dunk a cookie in it in memory of our Dad. He loved his morning coffee and loved to go to King’s for breakfast. God made our dad very, very special. Surviving are his son, Richard (Marlene) McFeely and daughter, Kathy McFeely and his cat Callie Kitty; grandchildren Holley Moysenko, James (Mary Anne) McFeely; 6 great-grandchildren; a special niece Micha; and his special friend Marilyn. At the request of the deceased, all services were private and entrusted to William G. Neal Funeral Homes, LTD., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, PA 15301. Donations in memory of Mr. McFeely can be made to Fix ‘ur Cat, 18 W. Pike Street, Canonsburg, PA 15317 or Washington Area Humane Society, 1527 PA-136, Eighty-Four, PA 15330.
