Richard Emerson Kerns

Richard Emerson Kerns, 70, of Washington, died September 9, 2021, in UPMC-Presbyterian, Pittsburgh. He was born April 19, 1951, in Washington, a son of the late Raymond S. Kerns and Betty J. Ross Kerns. Mr. Kerns loved working on cars and had worked as a lot attendant at Washington Auto Mall. He was a member of Church of Christ, Washington. Surviving are a daughter, Amy Kerns of Florida; a sister, Karen (Reed) Shaw of Prosperity; and several nieces and nephews. Deceased is a son, Carl Emerson Kerns. There will be no public visitation or service. William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., Washington, is handling arrangements.
