Richard Jones “Dick” Geisler, Jr., 76, of Washington, died July 13, 2023, in Donnell House. He was born August 28, 1946, in Sewickley, a son of the late Richard Jones Geisler, Sr., and Mary Agnes Smock Geisler. Mr. Geisler graduated from Trinity High School and worked as a maintenance mechanic at Washington and Jefferson College. He enjoyed crafts, woodworking, hunting, and reading. During the Vietnam War, he served in the Navy from August 12, 1964, until his honorable discharge on August 25, 1967, with a rank of ATR, 3rd class. On June 15, 1968, he married Carylon Darlene Meyer, who survives. Also surviving are two sons, Ron (Melissa) Geisler and David (Lisa) Geisler; two sisters, Donna (Robert) Miller and Rose (John) Lesnock; five grandchildren, Caleb (Karly), Andrew, Aiden, Rebecca, and Emily; and several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received on Tuesday, July 18th, from 1 to 3 and 5 to 7 p.m., the time of service, in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington. Interment in National Cemetery of the Alleghenies will be private.
