Richard ”Dick” Anthony Folle, 84, of Washington, PA, passed away Thursday, December 28th, 2023. He was born February 9, 1939, the son of the late Emma McCay. Dick was a 1957 graduate of California High School and a graduate of Penn Commercial. He started at Thorofare Markets as a stock boy and worked his way up to be a candy buyer and head of the Penny Fare division. His work ethic and aspirations led him to become an entrepreneur in the candy industry. Dick was a lifelong salesman and storyteller. His first love was flying followed by family, his Italian heritage, and hunting. He was an amazing father, grandfather, and friend to all. Dick is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Denise. Surviving in addition to Denise is his best friend and brother Larry Perna and brother Ken Folle; children Scott (Ann) Folle, Jill (Larry) Cersosimo, and Nikki (Scott) Chambers; grandchildren Derek, Jake, Lexi, Larry II, Chase, Gia, Capri and great-grandson Deegan. Dick lived a full and event-filled life, best summed up by the quote “Life is not a journey to the grave with intentions of arriving safely in a pretty and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out and loudly proclaiming … WOW! What a ride!” At the request of the family, there is no viewing.
