Richard Mark Brna, 62 of Washington, died Saturday, January 4, 2020 at home. He was born August 1, 1957, in Charleroi, the son of the late Francis E. Brna and Irma Jean O’Korn Brna Kiger. Richard was a 1975 graduate of Trinity High School and worked at Washington Steel as a maintenance mechanic. He was a member of St. Hilary Roman Catholic Church. He enjoyed woodworking, working on cars, four-wheeling in his son’s jeep and spending time with family and friends. On June 12, 1982, he married Judith M. Insana, who survives. Also surviving are three sons, Matthew Brna of Washington, Michael (Cora) Brna of Brookline and Caleb Brna of Washington; mother-in-law Patricia Insana; sister-in-law Carrie Frantz; several nieces and nephews. Deceased are two brothers, Ronald and Edward Brna. Friends will be received Thursday, January 9, 2020, from 11 to 1 p.m. the time of service at William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Ave, Washington. Burial is private at Queen of Heaven Cemetery.
