Richard Lee Blackhurst, 67, of Washington, died Monday, June 25, 2018, in Manor Care, McMurray. He was born February 4, 1951, in Washington, a son of the late John H. Blackhurst and Pauline Dolan Blackhurst. Mr. Blackhurst graduated from Trinity High School. He worked at Brockway Glass, then at Precision Marshall Steel until his retirement. An avid hunter, Mr. Blackhurst was a Pirates, Penguins and Steelers fan and enjoyed spending time with his family. Surviving are three children, Christy A. (Tom) Sterling of Strabane, Shawn R. (Cynthia) Blackhurst of Washington, and Courtney (Chad) Daloia of Washington; two brothers, Dave (Elaine) Blackhurst and Randy (Pauline) Blackhurst, both of Houston; and three grandchildren, Sage Sterling, Carson Sterling and Giovanni Daloia. Deceased is a brother, Kenneth Blackhurst. Friends will be received on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 1 p.m., Friday, June 29th. Burial will follow in Washington Cemetery.
