Richard L. Anderson

Richard Lynn “Rick” Anderson, 66, of West Alexander, passed away peacefully in his sleep on Saturday, April 6, 2024, in his home. He was born April 13, 1957, in Waynesburg, a son of the late Ralph Anderson and Kathryn Hartzell Anderson. Mr. Anderson graduated from McGuffey High School and worked at the Claysville Car Wash. He was a member of Abundant Life Baptist Church in Triadelphia, West Virginia. Rick will be sadly missed. Surviving are a son, Ricky Anderson (Heather) of Fort Eustis, Virginia; a daughter, Amanda Anderson of West Finley; five siblings, Daunice Morgan, Wilma Creighton (Randy), Ralph Anderson (Misty), Lois Hamberger (Jeff Lehman), and Mary Snyder (Dave); five grandchildren, Hailee, Ryan, Alexis, Landon, and Laikynn; many nieces and nephews; and Nancy Ferns, with whom he resided. Deceased are four brothers, Charles, Ronnie, Dave, and Tim Anderson. There will be no public visitation or service.
