Raymond A. Koronowski, 69, of Canonsburg, formerly of Washington, died Saturday, November 25, 2017, at the Greenery.He was born May 12, 1948, in Pittsburgh, a son of the late Sylvester Koronowski and Violet Polgar Koronowski.Raymond was veteran of the U. S. Army. For his service, he was awarded the National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, and the Marksmanship Rifle Badge.He worked as a dispatcher for Bob Smith Ford for 9 years.Raymond was a member of the American Legion Edwin Scott Linton Post #175, and was very active in Alcoholics Anonymous. He was very proud of his twenty-five years of sobriety.Surviving are a daughter, Patricia (Michael Anesetti) Williams, of Canonsburg; a brother, Kenneth (Susan) Koronowski, of Holidaysburg; two grandchildren, Dasia Williams and James Blankinsop; and two great grandchildren, Madyson Blankinsop and James Lee Blankinsop Jr.Deceased, in addition to his parents, is a brother, John Koronowski.Friends will be received Wednesday, November 29, 2017, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., at William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Ave, Washington, where services will be held Thursday, November 30, 2017, at 1:00 p.m. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Gardens.Memorial contributions can be made to any alcohol recovery related charity.
