Randall "Randy" E. Comfort

Randall “Randy” Eric Comfort, 66, of Washington, passed away peacefully Saturday, October 19, 2024, in Washington Hospital. He was born May 14, 1958, in Washington, a son of the late Joseph D. Comfort Sr. and Shirley Dague Comfort, who survives. Randy was a 1976 graduate of Trinity High School. He enjoyed working for the Andy Family and Washington Penn Plastics, until his retirement in 2007. He continued many friendships after he left WPP. Randy enjoyed spending time with family, socializing at the Alpine Club and playing pool, and was an avid Steelers fan. He never met a stranger. Surviving, in addition to his mother, are his wife, Melissa Bartolotto Comfort; sons Randall Comfort and Dennis (Amanda) Peirson; sisters Debbie (David) Elias and Leslie (Bobby) Hollandsworth; brother Joseph D. (Tracy) Comfort Jr.; grandchildren Jada Horner, Keeley Grandon, Braden Horner, Mason Comfort, Hunter Peirson and Riley Peirson; sisters and brothers-in-law Sharon Swart, Dan White, Vick Tau, Wendy (Eric) Sowers Mike (Samantha) Bartolotto, Lori (Dave) Gratz, Brian Bartolotto, Kevin (Pam) Bartolotto; and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. Family and friends will be received from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m., the hour of service, Wednesday, October 23, 2024, in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, with Pastor Linda Mankey officiating.
