Peggy Ann Mancina

Peggy Ann Mancina, 71, of Washington, died Tuesday, December 12, 2023, in Donnell House, Washington. She was born March 1, 1952, in Washington, a daughter of the late Salvatore Mancina and Donna Carpenter Mancina. Ms. Mancina was a 1970 graduate of Trinity High School. Over the years, she worked for Metro Glass, The Washington Hospital, and Family Home Health. She loved animals, black and white movies, music, especially Elvis, and, most of all, spending time with her family, whom she loved dearly. Ms. Mancina was a Christian. Surviving are a son, Matthew Mancina (Trisha); a brother, Samuel Mancina (Pamela); a sister, Joyce Paluda; nieces and nephews, Michael Mancina, Denise Mancina, Jennifer Paluda (Chuck Halvin), and Brian Paluda; her best friend of 51 years, Cindy Whitfield; and her work “sista,” Jennifer Powell. Deceased is a brother-in-law, George Paluda. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Angel Ridge Animal Rescue, PO Box 94, Meadowlands, PA 15347.
