Pearl Lillian Medlen Hutter, 82, of Washington, died September 15, 2023, in Transitions Healthcare, Washington. She was born July 3, 1941, in Washington, a daughter of the late Loring Lonzo and Anna Mae Wheeler Medlen. Pearl was the last surviving member of her family of 14 children. A graduate of Washington High School, Pearl was a homemaker. Pearl enjoyed spending time outdoors, doing ceramics, painting, adult coloring books, knitting blankets for family and friends, watching Lifetime movies, and spending time with her family and friends at Transitions Healthcare. Pearl is survived by her children, Christopher Arroyo (Tammy), Lori A. Chappel (Jeffrey), Daniel Arroyo, Ruthie Santek (the late Robert), and Charmaine Louk; twenty-one grandchildren; many, many, great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; and extended family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry H. Hutter; former husband, Jorge Martinez Arroyo; son, Bruce Carlos Arroyo; grandson, Anthony Carlos Arroyo, and her thirteen siblings, Harold Medlen, Leroy Medlen, Kenneth Medlen, James Medlen, Bernice Montgomery, Barbara Woods, Elmay McVehil, Sadie Angeline Meyers, Loring Lonzo Medlen, Jr., Melvin Lee Medlen, Albert Medlen, Mary Hall, and Alice Carpenter. All services were private and under the direction of William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, PA 15301.
