Paul Lynn McMahan, 77, of Washington, died on Sunday, May 6, 2018, in the Washington Hospital.He was born on August 19, 1940, in Washington, a son of the late Dr. Joseph McMahan and Mildred Smoutz McMahan.A graduate of Washington High School, he was a member of Faith United Presbyterian Church.Mr. McMahan worked for more than thirty years as an electrician for Washington Steel.He was a co-owner of Camp Penguin, a hunting camp, enjoyed restoring vintage MGTD cars, and he loved his dogs.One of Paul’s favorite pastimes was watching the Pittsburgh Penguins, Pirates and Steelers.On April 13, 1977, he married Nancy Armstrong, who survives.Also surviving are a son, Joseph (Liz Novak) McMahan, of Washington; two daughters, Tracey McMahan, of Texas, and DeeDee (John Angelo) McMahan, of Washington; a sister, Rebecca (Gary) Stiles, of Georgia; two grandchildren, Piper Krocker and Abi Metcalf; six nieces and one nephew.At the request of the deceased, there will be no visitation or services.The family requests memorial donations be made to the Lewy Body Dementia Association, 912 Killian Hill Road, S.W., Lilburn, GA 30047, or the Washington Area Humane Society, P.O.
