Paul Clark Hennen

Paul Clark Hennen, 78, of Pittsburgh, passed away Thursday, June 20, 2024. He was born April 22, 1946, in Washington, PA, a son of the late Paul V. Hennen and Lorraine Irwin Mossburg. Paul served as a radioman in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War as well as serving in the U.S. Coast Guard afterwards. He was awarded the Vietnam Service Medal with three bronze stars, National Defense Medal, Navy Unit Commendation Ribbon, and the Purple Heart. He pursued many passions such as his love of music, eventually amassing a large collection of 45 rpm records. He was expert at restoring and repairing antique radios, jukeboxes, arcade games, and classic cars. He enjoyed traveling throughout the United States with his family, woodworking, photography, and antique collecting. He was also an avid outdoorsman who built his own house in the mountains of West Virginia. Surviving are three sons, Donovan Hennen, Joshua Hennen, and Brandon Hennen; a daughter, Brittany Hennen; and five grandchildren, Caleb, Cheyenne, Brady, Saleena and Maya; nephews and a niece; Colin, Shane, Scott, and Lori. Deceased are brothers Gary Hennen and David Hennen, and sister Judith Hennen. Family and friends will be received from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., the time of service, Wednesday, July 3, 2024, with Pastor Linda Mankey officiating. Burial will follow at 2 p.m. in National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Cecil Township. Military honors will be accorded by the U.S. Navy and American Legion Post #175.
