Patty Ann Rhoades Beatty, 88, of Washington, passed away Sunday, February 11, 2024, with her family by her side. She was born June 5, 1935, in Waynesburg, a daughter of the late Ewing and Edria Powell Rhoades. On January 2, 1952, she married the love of her life Walter John Daniel Beatty, who died April 25, 2015. They enjoyed 64 years of marriage and raised five children together. They enjoyed shopping, antiquing, and planting large gardens together. Mrs. Beatty was an avid Bingo player. She loved her family. She retired from the Dietary Department at Washington Hospital. Surviving are her children, Lynn (Joe) Daniels, Walt (Kim) Beatty, Charlotte (Frank) Beatty and Hope Beatty of Washington; she loved her 10 grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; two brothers, James Rhoades and William Rhoades; a sister-in-law, Mary Beatty Hanlon; and many nieces and nephews. Deceased, in addition to her husband and parents, are a daughter, Deborah Ann Adams; a son, James Ewing Beatty; grandsons James “Bubba” Beatty, Shawn Beatty and James Adams who died in infancy; granddaughter Christy Beatty and Cary Adams; three brothers, Walter Rhoades, Jack Rhoades and Dick Rhoades; and a sister, Charlotte Mearl Beatty. Visitation will be held from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday, February 15, where services will be held at 12 p.m. Friday, February 16, in William G. Neal Funeral Home, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, PA 15301. Burial will follow in Washington Cemetery.
