Patricia "Patty" J. Barnes

Patricia J. “Patty” Barnes, 54, of Washington, died Wednesday January 22, 2020, at Allegheny General Hospital.   She was born April 17, 1965, in Washington, a daughter of the late Richard Jesse Barnes and Delores Mae Vaden Barnes. Patty was a 1983 graduate of Washington High School, and worked as a private caregiver. She was a member of United in Christ Life Church in Washington. Patty loved Steelers football and taking care of Braydon, with whom she shared a special bond. Surviving are five children, Tierone A. (Tatiana Pirt) Barnes Sr., of Washington, Jerome A. Barnes, of Washington, Romone J. (Ashley McNinch) Barnes, of Washington, Carlesha A. Cohen, of Washington, and Braydon A. Barnes, of Washington; six siblings, Donna Lee, of Baltimore, Deborah Johnson, of Baltimore, Richard (Rhonda) Barnes, of Washington, Lonnie Barnes, of Washington, Joseph Barnes, of Washington, and Margaret Walker of Washington; five grandchildren, Tayvian, Tierone Jr., Danton, Markus and Jayceon; and numerous nieces and nephews. Deceased are her significant other, Carl A. Cohen; and five siblings, Richard T. Barnes, Edward Vaden, Nadine Vaden, Jacqueline Vaden, and Donna Vaden. Friends will be received Wednesday, January 29, 2020 from 3 to 7 p.m. the time of service at William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Ave, Washington, PA
