Patricia Irene Devore Newman

Patricia Irene Devore Newman, lovingly known as “Hazel”, 74 of Washington, died unexpectedly, Thursday, May 17, 2018 at the Washington Hospital. She was born February 6, 1944 in Washington, the daughter of the late Dane Devore and Irene Lycett Devore. Patricia was a 1962 graduate of Trinity High School and graduated with her Associate Degree from Penn Commercial. She most recently worked at the Caring Mission as a caregiver. Patricia was past president of Rebekah Assembly and a member of Gladys Rebekah Lodge #103. She enjoyed relaxing at her camp. Surviving are a daughter, Cammy S. (Mike) McAdams of West Finley; a son, J. D. (Jerry) Sumney of Washington; two sisters, Judy McCartney of Washington and Gail (Steve) Brezinski of Washington; four grandchildren, Joy Wise, Michael (Amanda) McAdams, Matthew (Samantha) McAdams, Robert (Patty) Ferri, all of Washington; three great grandchildren, Michael, Liam and Mickey McAdams  and her companion, Francis Watt of Washington. Friends will be received Sunday, May 20, 2018, from noon to 3:00 p.m. the time of service at William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Ave, Washington.
