Patricia Ann Mcginnis

Patricia Ann McGinnis, 88, of Washington, passed away Thursday, November 14, 2024, in Premier Health Center, Washington. She was born November 20, 1935, in Pampa, Texas, a daughter of the late Samuel Lewis McGinnis and Lillian Odessa Weaver McGinnis. Patricia attended Cecil High School and Washington and Jefferson College. She was employed as a bookkeeper. Patricia loved motorcycling, having started riding at the age of 14. She enjoyed fishing, camping, reading and dancing. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family. She was a past matron of the Order of the Eastern Star. Surviving are a son, David F. Lutes of Victoria, Texas; three daughters, Patricia “Patsy” (Douglas) Rabe of Washington, Lisa (the late Tim) Kirby of Washington and Cindy Lutes (long-term friend James Hutchison) of Washington; a sister, Shirley Chauvet of McDonald; seven grandchildren, Jessica, Patricia, David F. III, Sonya, David S. Angel, Heather and DJ; nine great-grandchildren, Emma Rose, David Sam, Christopher, Cody, Nick, Noah, Tyler, Devin and Landon; and many nieces, nephews, friends and family. Deceased are two sisters, Carol Jean DeGrave and Sandra “Sammy” McGinnis. Family and friends will be received from 1 to 4 p.m., the hour of service, Monday, November 25, 2024, in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington. Memorial donations may be made to Alzheimer's Association, 2835 East Carson Street, Suite 200, Pittsburgh, PA 15203.
