Patricia A. Holtkamp

Patricia A. Ahlfeld Holtkamp, of Washington, passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 4, 2024, at the age of 93. Pat was born in Benton, IL. She moved numerous times in support of her late husband’s career as an engineer and executive, before settling in Washington and starting a business. Pat loved spending time with her family, always had a warm smile, and brought joy to anyone she met. She was active in a social media group called Pound-a-Week that inspired her to become more fit and active well into her 80’s. Pat enjoyed touring the Amish country and taking scenic drives throughout the area. She loved to sew and used her talents to make clothes, dolls, and costumes for her children and grandchildren. She even sewed her own prom dress in high school. She will also be remembered as a wonderful mother, grandmother, and devoted wife. Patricia had three children Donna Marconyak (Tom), Mark Holtkamp, and Mike Holtkamp (Jane); four grandchildren, Megan, Scott, Patricia, and TJ; and five great grandchildren, Jacob, Emma, Meadow, Owen, and Wyatt. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Holtkamp, her parents Ervin, and Ruby Ahlfeld (Dunbar), her brothers James Ahlfeld, Robert Ahlfeld, and sister Doris Johnston. At the request of the deceased, there will not be a visitation.
