Patricia L. Hanna Onopiuk, 82, of Prosperity, passed away Monday, March 3, 2025, in Transitions Healthcare, Washington. She was born September 6, 1942, in Washington, a daughter of the late Walter Hanna and Thelma A. Harshman Hanna. Patricia was a graduate of Trinity High School. She retired from the housekeeping department of Washington Hospital after 34 years of employment. Patricia was Presbyterian by faith. She enjoyed playing bingo and darts, adult coloring books and crafting. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family. Her lifelong companion, James Albert Mull, passed away in 1993. Surviving are two daughters, Teresa Noel of Houston and Pamela D. (Charlie) Smith of Prosperity; grandchildren Jamie (Stephen) Renschler, Dylan James (Mikayla) Dietrich, Terry Donahoe and Tyler L. Smith; great-grandchildren Cooper and Emilee Renschler and Lucy Donahoe; two brothers, Richard (Evelyn) Hanna of Washington and Robert (Trudy) Hanna of Washington; and several nieces and nephews. Deceased, in addition to her parents, are siblings Delores Tarr, William Hanna (surviving Frances), Edward Hanna, Cheryl Coates and Gerald “Jack” Hanna. Family and friends will be received from 3 to 6 p.m., the hour of service, Monday, March 10, 2025, in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, with the Rev. Sue Petritis officiating. Interment will be held in Washington Cemetery. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
