Norma Jean Hupp

Norma Jean Hupp, 86, of Washington, died on June 28, 2022, in Presbyterian Senior Care. She was born on November 20, 1935, in Washington, a daughter of the late Cyril and Sarah Jennings Davidson. Norma was a member of Washington Alliance Church. A creative person, Mrs. Hupp enjoyed sewing, embroidery and making quilts. She also enjoyed making pyjamas and pillowcases for the granchildren, and embroidering their names on them. Norma was blessed with helping at the church camp at Believers Fellowship, in Elkins, WV. A woman who had a fantastic sense of humor, and always had a smile on her face, she loved spending time with her family, and was her children's and grandchildren's biggest ally and supporter. Special thanks from Norma and her family, to the staff at Presbyterian Senior Care for the exemplary care they provided. On December 22, 1951, she married the love of her life, Worley Wayne Hupp, who survives. Also surviving are a son, John Hupp, of Washington; two daughters, Sharon (George) Kramer, of Eighty Four, and Colleen (Richard) Shrontz, of Washington; seven grandchildren, Danny, Jamie, Johnny, Colton, Garrett, Sarah, and Nicole; eight great grandchildren, Paige, Alexis, Dale, Alaina, Seth, Faith, Jalynn, and Joe; as well as several nieces and nephews. Deceased are a son, Larry Wayne Hupp; a brother, Donald Davidson; and a sister, Barbara Bredniak. At the request of the deceased, all services were private, and held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Samaritan's Purse, P.O. Box 3000, Boone, NC 28607.
