Norma Viola Cochran, 81, of Washington, died on October 21, 2022, in the Grove of Washington. She was born on December 2, 1940, in Indiana, PA, a daughter of the late Floyd and Edith Frye Johns. Norma had worked as a dishwasher at Valley Dairy, Angelo's Restaurant and Donna's Country Kitchen. An avid Pittsburgh Pirates fan, Norma enjoyed word search puzzles and scratch off tickets, but most of all, she loved spending time with family. Her first husband, Robert Sexton, Sr., died on November 26, 1977, and her second husband, Francis Cochran, died on September 24, 2001. Surviving are two sons, Richard (Joan) Sexton and Robert Sexton, Jr.; two daughters, Karen (Robert) Reese and Debra (Chuck) Peace; six grandchildren, Jason (Brittany) Sexton, Corey (Monnyca) Sexton, Renee (Elijah) Boring, Shawn (Dawn) Peace, Katelyn (Colin) Gaver, and Amanda Peace; eighteen great grandchildren, and one on the way; and several nieces and nephews. Deceased are six brothers, Ted, James, Sam, Pete, Louis, and Charles Johns; and two sisters, Helen Lockard and Doris Miller. Friends and family will be received on Tuesday, October 25, 2022, from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m., the time of service, in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Ave., Washington.
