Nancy Mae Staley

Nancy Mae Staley, 64, of Prosperity, died July 6, 2023, in her home. She was born July 21, 1958, in Washington, the daughter of the late Samuel Lee Staley, Jr., and Clara Simms Staley. Nancy attended Trinity High School and worked as a cook at the Meadows Casino for more than 10 years. She loved spending time with her grandchildren, going on cruises, gardening, and attending bingo bashes. Nancy is survived by her daughters, April Robl (Richard Spencer), Amy Robl (Brian Gottschalk, Sr.), Angela Robl (Matthew Goodrum); a son, William Robl, Jr.; sisters, Karen Staley, and Dorothy Douglas; brothers, Roy Staley, James Staley, Brian Staley, John Staley, William Staley, and Dave Staley; grandchildren, Shane, Paige, Chelsea, Ian, Ella, Brian Jr., and David; greatgrandchildren, Paisley, Anastasia, Brian III, and Aspyn. Family and friends will be received Wednesday, July 12, 2023, 3-7pm, in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington.
