It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Nancy L. Moore, 77, on January 4, 2025. Born on February 8, 1947, in Washington, Pennsylvania, Nancy was a wife, beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend to many. Nancy was a woman of grace and resilience, known for her kindness, sense of humor, wisdom, and love of her family. Nancy's unwavering devotion to her family was the cornerstone of her life, always putting their needs above her own and creating a warm, nurturing home filled with love and laughter. She was predeceased by her father, Harold McCord Sr.; her mother, Betty McCord; her stepmother, Ellen McCord; and a brother, Harold “Butch” McCord Jr. Surviving are her husband, Charles Moore; a daughter, Sheila Moore (Michael Price); a granddaughter, Erica Pinkney (Tristan); a grandson, Tony Price; great-grandchildren Landen Moore (Madison Pierce), Ashten Pinkney and Danica Pinkney; a sister, Valerie Nagel; a brother, Timothy McCord (Susan); and many nieces, nephews, and other family members. Family and friends will be received from 3 to 6 p.m., the hour of service, Wednesday, January 15, 2025, in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, with the Reverend Layman Davis presiding. The family invites all who knew and loved Nancy to join in remembering the woman who loved and touched so many lives. Nancy will be dearly missed, and her legacy of love and kindness will continue to inspire all who had the privilege of knowing her.
