Michael Paul Romano, 40, of Washington, died unexpectedly on August 2, 2021. He was born on February 16, 1981, in Washington, a son of Sherri A. Twardon Romano, of Washington, and the late Kenneth Eugene Romano. A 1999 graduate of Trinity High School, Michael went on to earn his Associate Degree in business at Penn Commercial. Mr. Romano worked as a machinist for Advanced Coil (ACI), a bartender at the Polish Club, and a basketball referee at the Brownson House. An accomplished athlete, Michael enjoyed fishing, golfing, and playing sports, including basketball and baseball, and football in his younger years. He played in the Pony League World Series, and later coached the indoor Soccer League at the Brownson House. In addition to all his other activities, Michael enjoyed camping and spending time in the outdoors. Surviving are the mother of his children, Kimber Credo, of Monongahela; three children, Sahara Romano, Dean Romano, and Sophia Romano; a brother, Mark (Heather Bennett) Romano, of Washington; two nieces, Miranda Romano and Payton Romano; maternal grandmother, Mary Jane Romano Boardley; two uncles, Roger Boardley and Billy Boardley; and several aunts, uncles, and extended family. Deceased are grandparents, Michael and Mary Twardon and Frank and Anna Romano; an uncle, Michael “Whiskey” Twardon; and a cousin, Michael Shawn Twardon. Friends will be received on Friday, August 6, 2021, from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m., the time of service, in the William G.
