Michael Anthony Kover, 53, of Washington, died on Monday, September 25, 2017, in The Washington Hospital.
He was born September 12, 1964, in Washington, a son of Nancy Vankirk Murphy of Washington and the late George Kover, Jr.
Mr. Kover was a graduate of Trinity High School.
He enjoyed history and creating oil paintings.
Mr. Kover had attended Friendship Community Church.
He will be greatly missed by his favorite cat, Buddy.
Surviving, in addition to his mother, are a brother, George (Phyllis) Kover of Washington; two step-sisters, Tanya (William) Campbell and Gina Murphy, both of Flat Rock, Michigan; and four nieces, Christina Helmick and Kimberly, Kelly and Jenna Kover.
Deceased, in addition to his father, are his stepfather, Donald Murphy; maternal grandparents, Lenore and Pug Vankirk; and paternal grandparents, George and Mildred Kover.
Friends will be received Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Thursday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 1:30 p.m., Friday, September 29th, with Rev. Rick Bruckner officiating. Burial will follow in Prosperity Cemetery.
