Michael E. “Pop Sweety” Crile, 63 of Washington, died Friday, January 11, 2019 at Washington Hospital. He was born April 28, 1955 in Washington, the son of Rachel E. Herron and the late Kenneth E. Crile. Mike was a 1973 graduate of Trinity High School and served in the Air Force Reserves for 6 years as a medic and communications specialist. He worked at Washington Ambulance and Chair as a medic and retired from International Paper after 38 years. He was currently working at Rural King in the gun barn. Mike was a member of the National Rifle Association, and a life member of ABATE of Washington County. He was an avid hunter and reader and enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson. Mike loved his grandchildren, they were the love of his life. On February 2, 1985, he married Cindy J. Grimm, who survives. Also surviving are a daughter, Megan E. (Brian) Bell; a son, Michael B. (Mike Somervill) Crile; two brothers, Kevin W. (Nancy) Crile and Scott E. Crile; four grandchildren, his weekend party buddies, Gavin J. Bell and Dylan Fife and the blondes, Laney J. and Joey L. Bell; an uncle, James M. (Edie) Herron; nephews, Kevin W. (Heather) Crile Jr. and Adam C. Crile; nieces, Cristin M. (Michael) Litman, Ashley M. (Travis) Ward and Alyssa B. (Adam) Lohr and several great nieces and nephews. Friends will be received Monday, January 14, 2019 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Ave, Washington, where services will be held Tuesday, January 15, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Academy for Adolescent Health, 410 N.
