Melony Lynn Anderson, 31, of West Alexander, died Saturday August 13, 2022. She was born January 8, 1991, in Washington, a daughter of Melvin Jacob Anderson of Claysville and Tammy Lynn Noble of West Alexander. A graduate of Washington High School, Ms. Anderson worked as a caregiver at Transitions Health Care in Washington. She enjoyed playing basketball, which she was very good at, and loved to play bingo and spend time with her children. Surviving, in addition to her parents, are her three children, Mackenzie Patterson, Peyton Burnette and Carter Burnette; two brothers, David (Mickayla) Shoup and Jacob (Janelle) Anderson; six sisters, Christina (Chase) Patterson, Crystal Vinole, Megan Patterson, Mariah (Gary) Patterson, Nicole Yoders, and Melia Anderson; many nieces and nephews, including a very special nephew, Keith “TimTim” Patterson, to whom she was very close; grandmother, Mary Noble; grandfather, Roger Anderson; aunts, Mary Ann Gilbert, Cathy (Gary) Yoders, and Pamela Cowden; an uncle, Robert (Tammy) Noble; her stepfather, Timothy “Ben” Shoup; her fiancé, Vasily Chepelov; and her dearest friends, Kayley, Amber, and Cortney. Deceased are her grandmother, Marlene Anderson; grandfather, Robert Noble; and an uncle, Michael Anderson. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., Thursday, August 18th, in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 10 a.m., Friday, August 19th. Burial will follow in Washington Cemetery
