Megan Elizabeth Peacock

Megan Elizabeth Peacock, 26, of Washington, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, November 5, 2019.  She passed from this life to a beautiful, peaceful life with our Heavenly Father and welcomed into those pearly gates by her Aunt Darla. She was born on March 16, 1993, in Washington, to John Peacock II and Rhonda Peacock Sekura. Megan graduated in 2011 from Washington High School, where she played clarinet and keyboard in the band. She played TWIST softball from the age of 5 years through 16 years. She was very passionate about the game and often referred to Coach Mike and Coach Bob as the best. Megan enjoyed working with and assisting the mentally challenged and was presently employed by ARC. She was a member of Fourth Presbyterian Church, Washington. In addition to her parents, Megan is survived by her loving brother and best friend, John Peacock III; half-brothers, James Robert Peacock and Henry John Harrold Peacock; paternal grandparents, John and Ruth Peacock of Georgia; maternal grandparents, Bill and Joyce Koeppelle  of Washington, with whom she made her home; a niece, Jayde Peacock; her loving uncle Bill and aunt Jalea Koeppelle; several cousins and forever friends, Jordan and Zachary Koeppelle; future cousin and best friend, Melissa Mossburg; great-aunts, Gina Baldwin and Faye Koeppelle; great-uncle, Merle and great-aunt Vickie Baldwin. Preceding Megan in death are her great-grandmother, Grace Baldwin, and her aunt, Darla Koeppelle. Megan will be missed by her many friends and her cat, Ralph. Friends will be received on Sunday from 6 till 8 p.m., in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 1:30 p.m., Monday, November 11th, with Rev. Robert Miller officiating.  Burial will follow in Washington Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to ARC, ​470 Johnson Road, Suite 200, Washington, PA 15301 or Washington Area Humane Society, PO Box 66, Eighty Four, PA 15330.
