Mary Jane Smith

Mary Jane Dalton Smith, 92, of Washington, died February 20, 2023, in Premier Washington Health Center, Washington. She was born January 25, 1931, in Washington, the daughter of the late Frank Vernon and Mildred Burns Dalton. A graduate of Washington High School and Penn Commercial, she was a legal secretary. Mary Jane retired from Peacock Keller Law Firm after 44 years of service. On July 9, 1954, Mary Jane married James Lawson Smith, who died October 31, 2015. Family and friends will gather Friday, February 24, 2023, for a visitation from 11:30 am until 12:30 pm in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, and process to Washington Cemetery for a graveside service at 12:45 pm.
