Mary Onopiuk Roach

Mary Onopiuk Roach, of Washington, died May 18, 2023, in Strabane Woods, Washington. She was born April 3, 1927, in Washington, the daughter of the late Louis and Agnes Kanish Onopiuk. Mary attended Trinity High School and retired from Brockway Glass Plant #11 and #7. She was a member of First Christian Church of Washington and a volunteer at Washington Christian Outreach. Mary enjoyed bowling, playing cards, and traveling. On September 16, 1952, Mary married Donald V. Roach, who died February 18, 1970. She was very close to two of her nieces, Lucia Lynn Brogley and Agnes Joy Bail (Randy). Also surviving are two brothers, Thomas Onopiuk, of Mariana, and Paul Onopiuk of Washington state; and several nieces and nephews. Preceding Mary in death was two brothers, Matt Onopiuk, and Joseph Onopiuk. At the request of the deceased, all services were private.
