Mary Louise Mckinney

Mary Louise McKinney, 87 of Washington, died Wednesday, July 8, 2020 at Transitions Health Care. She was born August 25, 1932, in Washington, the daughter of the late Levi Kenneth Pickens and Irene Morris Pickens. Mary was a 1950, Trinity High School graduate and worked a Bell Telephone as a operator in the 1950’s. She retired from the Trinity Area School District where she worked in the cafeteria. She was a member of the Christian & Missionary Alliance Church of Washington. On June 22, 1950, she married Willard E. “Barney” McKinney Jr., who died December 12, 1980. On December 10, 1994, she married James Baer, who died November 15, 2012. Surviving are a son, David Lee (Darlene) McKinney of Belmont, NC; a brother, Robert (Carol) Pickens of Cleveland, OH; three sisters, Norma Jean Abraham of Taylorstown, Barbara Ann Stowers of Steubenville, OH and Caroline Crites of Washington; a granddaughter, Marina Lynne McKinney. Deceased is a sister, Shirley Friend. Friends will be received Tuesday, July 14, 2020 from 11 to 1 p.m. the time of service at William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Ave, Washington. Burial will follow at Washington Cemetery.
