Mary Lou Williams

October 24, 1931 — February 25, 2025

Mary Lou DeMay Williams, 93, of Kittanning, formerly of Washington, passed away Tuesday, February 25, 2025, in Butler Memorial Hospital. She was born October 24, 1931, in Scenery Hill, a daughter of the late Harry DeMay and Mary Shetler DeMay. On December 23, 1950, she married Wilbur N. Williams, who died on March 8, 2021. Mary Lou was a student at West-Beth Center High School from grades 9 through 12. She was employed by Giant Eagle as a cashier. She enjoyed playing cards, bingo, puzzles, watching TV shows and old westerns, especially The Rifleman. A loyal Steelers fan, she also loved polka dancing. A very generous person, Mary Lou loved to take care of others, as well as traveling and visiting her family. Mary Lou is survived by her daughters, Deborah Landis (Merle) of Wellsville, PA, Cheri Kulbacki (Rick) of Kittanning, PA, and Judy Williams of Pittsburgh, PA; grandchildren Kellie, Eric, “Buffy” (Elizabeth), Brian, Rich, Jeffery, and Jodi; and 14 great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband and parents, Mary Lou is also preceded in death by her sisters, Ruth, Helen, Vivian and Marge and brothers, Jim and Richard. A memorial service will begin at 11:00 on Monday, March 17, 2025 at Forest Lawn Gardens, 3739 Washington Road, McMurray. Everyone is asked to please meet at the cemetery chapel.
